Draw vectors, assign machining operations, generate G-code, and drive the machine — in one program.

Windows

Windows installer recommended — auto-updates Portable no install, just run it — does not auto-update

Linux

AppImage recommended — one file, no root, auto-updates Debian / Ubuntu package does not auto-update
Linux: you must be in the dialout group, or the app sees no serial ports at all and looks broken. /dev/ttyUSB0 belongs to that group.
chmod +x MillForger-1.9.10-x86_64.AppImage
sudo usermod -aG dialout $USER # then log out and back in
Windows will warn you on first run. The app isn't code-signed, so SmartScreen shows “Windows protected your PC”. Click More info → Run anyway. It updates itself after that — you won't need to come back here.
First cut on a real machine: air-cut it. Set Z zero deliberately above the stock, run the whole job in the air, and keep a hand on Pause. Then re-zero and cut for real.
